Terms of Use

  1. Free features. Dictionary lookups, IPA, definitions, translations and the device's Apple voices are free and work offline where the data is on the device.
  2. PronounceLens Pro. Pro is an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) that adds natural AI voices for word taps, sentence playback, read-aloud and shadowing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
  3. Fair use of AI voice. Pro includes 100,000 characters of AI voice per calendar month (roughly 25 articles worth of listening). Audio you have already heard is cached and does not count. When the monthly allowance is used up, the app automatically switches to the Apple voice for the rest of the month and tells you so; the allowance resets on the 1st of the next month (UTC). Unused allowance does not carry over.
  4. Booster packs. A booster is a one-time purchase that adds 100,000 characters of AI voice to your account. Booster characters never expire, are used only after the monthly allowance, and are tied to your Pro subscription.
  5. Availability. AI voices need an internet connection and are provided through a cloud speech service; we may change voices or providers. If the service is unavailable, the Apple voice is used.
  6. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store terms. Apple's standard EULA applies in addition to these terms.

  5. 提供。AI 音声にはインターネット接続が必要で、クラウド音声サービスを通じて提供されます。音声やプロバイダは変更される場合があります。利用できない場合は Apple の音声を使います。
  6. 返金は App Store の規約に基づき Apple が対応します。本規約に加えて Apple の標準 EULA が適用されます。

  5. 服务提供。AI 语音需要联网，通过云端语音服务提供；我们可能更换音色或服务商。服务不可用时使用 Apple 语音。
  6. 退款由 Apple 依据 App Store 条款处理。除本条款外，Apple 标准 EULA 同样适用。
